ORCHESTRA IOWA SCHOOL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE POLICY
The School endeavors to offer quality music education to all students regardless of financial circumstances.
Assistance is awarded based on the following:
1. The family’s financial need
2. A letter of recommendation regarding the student’s demonstrated progress and commitment to learning from the student’s current or former teacher, family
member, guardian, counselor, or other person familiar with the student's musical
interest.
3. Availability of funds
Financial assistance applicants must complete an application form and provide a completed teacher recommendation form. Funding for financial assistance is limited, and awards are made upon availability of designated funds. All family financial information is kept confidential.
Students receiving financial assistance are expected to attend scheduled lessons
and practice on a regular and consistent basis.
