Music Lessions

There are many opportunities for instrumental and vocal lessons at Orchestra Iowa School. Curriculum is individualized for each student, people of all skill levels can enjoy the benefits of lessons at the School whether beginning study, progressing in skills, working to prepare for an All-State or college audition or simply playing for the enjoyment of making music.

Youth Choruses

Students in kindergarten through sixth grade have the opportunity to develop their innate joy of music making by performing with one of Orchestra Iowa School’s three youth choruses. Participants develop skills in choral singing by exploring a variety of choral repertoire.

Music Together®

Music Together® is a program designed to help parents nurture their child’s musical growth. It provides developmentally-appropriate music and movement instruction to children from birth to 5 years old, as well as their parents or caregivers. The Music Together® approach encourages early child development, understanding and response through direct musical experiences.

Outreach Programs

The Orchestra Iowa School has three outreach programs for Corridor Area youth, including Pied Piper, Music In The Schools and Fifth Grade Fiddles. These programs are free, and promote the introduction of musical instruments to preschool and elementary age children.
