Mike Hall

Mike Hall has been on the violin and viola faculty of the Orchestra Iowa School as well as playing in Orchestra Iowa for well over 2 decades. During that time he has taught private lessons to students ranging from 3 year old beginners to advanced high school students (including the concertmaster of the Iowa All State Orchestra), to adults of various ages.

He has taught Suzuki group classes in violin and viola, coached chamber ensembles, and played many times in the symphony's string quartet outreaches. He is currently an active instructor in the 5th Grade Fiddles program in the elementary schools. Mike received the MM degree in Violin Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
