Mark Baumann

Mark Baumann is a music, education, and church professional with extensive experience.  At The University of Iowa he completed a dissertation on hymnology to earn his doctors degree in Philosophy in 1997 with after finishing a Master’s degree in Music and organ performance in 1984.  Undergraduate work in vocal and instrumental music education and organ perform was done at Central College, Pella, Iowa.  Mark is the principal Organist at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids, Saturday Organist/Cantor at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and Adjunct Instructor in Music Theory and Music Appreciation, Kirkwood Community College.  Mark is currently accepting piano students of all ages.
