Morgan Schwarting
As the Director of Education and Community Engagement at Orchestra Iowa, Morgan is passionate about bringing the transformative power of music to diverse audiences. In this role, she oversees educational programming, partnerships, and community outreach initiatives that foster a deeper connection between Orchestra Iowa and the people it serves. Morgan works closely with schools, local organizations, and community leaders to create impactful, inclusive opportunities for learning and engagement with the arts.
With a strong background in education, community building, and music, Morgan is committed to inspiring the next generation of musicians and music lovers, while promoting a sense of belonging and collaboration within the community. She is particularly excited about the ways music can bridge gaps, foster creativity, and enrich lives through shared experiences.
Outside of work, Morgan enjoys gardening, cooking, decorating, and taking on home renovation projects. Whether it’s cultivating a garden, trying out new recipes, or bringing a design vision to life. Whether cultivating a garden, experimenting with new recipes, or transforming living spaces, Morgan approaches each project with curiosity and care. These same qualities guide her work in shaping a dynamic, inclusive music education program that strengthens community ties and inspires lifelong engagement with the arts.
Sarah Peters
Sarah is the Office Manager for both the Administrative Office and the School at Orchestra Iowa. With a strong background in early childhood education and administration, she plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations across the organization. Sarah’s attention to detail and friendly demeanor makes her an invaluable resource for students, staff, and patrons alike. Whether handling daily administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, or assisting with school activities, she is dedicated to supporting the success of Orchestra Iowa's mission to inspire and educate through music.
When she’s not managing the day-to-day operations, Sarah enjoys going to the theater and music concerts, doing puzzle and playing games with her family, and planning Disney vacations!
